University of Oregon
Visitors to campus have several parking options.
Opening Night Reception at JSMA (Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art)
Friday from 9 pm – 11 pm
You can park in metered spots until 6pm. After 6pm, meters are no longer enforced. You can also park in faculty/staff spots with green signs as long as the sign doesn’t say “At All Times” in the fine print. You may need to get out and read the fine print on the sign.
Also, there is a lot on E. 14th between Alder and Kincaid, behind the US Bank on E. 13th, that allows free parking after 6 pm.
Erb Memorial Union(EMU) | Redwood Auditorium
Saturday & Sunday
The parking spots with green signs for faculty/staff parking are up for grabs as longs as the sign doesn’t say “At All Times.” You have to get out and read the fine print on the sign. Meters are enforced on Saturdays from 7 am – 6 pm at $2/hr. Visitors can use the app at www.parkmobile.com to pay and re-load with no time limit, except for lot 29A (behind the EMU). Lot 29A does not use the parkmobile app; you have to use the dedicated pay station. Then it’s free at night.
Also, the parking garage hours on 13th Ave are 6 am – 11 pm. It seems like it would be helpful to park in the garage during the day on Saturday for an extended period of time if a faculty/staff spot could not be found. On weekends, the ADA spaces are available for disabled parking without a UO placard.
Please note: On Sunday meters are not enforced, and the faculty reserved spots with the Green Signs are up for grabs as long as it doesn’t say “At All Times.”
