Singer-songwriter-scholar Julian Saporiti beautifully explores the Asian American experience in this multi-media concert–combining original songs, storytelling and projected archival images. His soulful acoustic sound has played across the country, from universities and cultural centers to rural churches, bars and indie rock clubs. Through his music and songs, Saporiti creates art from complicated American histories; he creates a thoughtful space to reflect on the past and to recognize current day racial and political fear.
