The DisOrient Asian American Film Festival of Oregon returns April 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th, 2014 to the Bijou Art Cinemas in Eugene, Oregon. DisOrient is a social justice film festival dedicated to deconstructing the media stereotypes of Asians and Asian Americans as "Orientals". We believe in the power of film-as-art to educate, heal and improve the lives of people by giving voice to our experiences.

7:00 PM - The Pre-Festival Social Justice Special Screening.

FRIDAY, APRIL 11th

7:00 PM - The Opening Night Film, “A Leading Man”
9:30 - 11:30 PM - Opening Night Reception.
Admission to the Opening Night Reception is with your ticket stub or VIP Pass. The Opening Night Reception will have entertainment by the CABA Lion Dancers, the Eugene Youth Ballet, and singer and spoken word artist J Reyn.

SATURDAY, APRIL 12th

11 AM - 9:20 PM - Film Program includes World Premiere films
9:40 - 10:40 PM - Kate Rigg
Special event co-sponsored by the The University of Oregon Multicultural Center.

SUNDAY, APRIL 13th

12:00 noon - 9:15 PM - Film Program includes World Premiere films
7:20 - 8:55 PM - Closing Night Film, “The Haumāna”
9:45-11:30 PM - Closing Night Awards Gala. Admission with VIP Pass or ticket stub from the Closing Night Film, “The Haumāna”
